Seventy-Five and Still Alive!

Turning 75—what a milestone! Doing the math: 2025 minus 1950 equals 75. I’m deeply grateful to God, my Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ for that “zoe life” getting me to this point. Interestingly, moving past 70 and approaching 80 aligns with a biblical perspective. As Psalm 90:10 notes, “The years of our life are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty.” So, here’s to embracing this new chapter with gratitude and faith!

It is an honor to use my God-given abilities and drive to continue in Charlotte real estate and the YouTube game. Most every and all videos are relative to new construction and folks relocating to the Charlotte area, yet I’ll get a bit personal from time to time. My 75th birthday weekend seems to be a good opportunity to do so. Watch.

Reflecting on Jack’s Life & Legacy

Jack the Real Estate Dog was much more than just a catchy dog name for my business; he was a true friend who is greatly missed. It was just last week that the big C got the best of our sweet boy and we are shedding lots of tears. The video here is me bearing my heart just a few hours after his passing. If you’d like to see the impact Jack made on folks across the country with his appearances and partnership in my real estate YouTube videos, click through HERE and read the Comments. And please join the conversation. ~Roger

Bishop Tom Benjamin in my Storyline

Dr. T. Garrott Benjamin, Jr. was a household name in the city of Indianapolis (Second Christian Church), where I’m from. After he was ordained as a Bishop, he began to be known as Bishop Tom Benjamin (Light of the World Christian Church). Here we are at ages 72 and 80, having both moved from the City of Indianapolis, which had been good to each of us, telling our story. His YouTube channel is here.

Roger at The Beach

Having spent three great years as a resident of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, I love getting back to the beach. In this video rant and roll, I’m thinking about my life as I’ve lived it and enjoying my favorite space on the Atlantic Ocean at the Shipyard Beach Club spot. Just like always.

The Time of My Life at the Indiana State Fair

Growing up in Indianapolis, where the Indiana State Fair is located, means that you get to go to the Fair at the end of each summer. To do what? Ride the shuttle, eat fried food, and see the exhibits. I also loved to see capitalism at work in the Manufacturer’s Building. There, small vendors would hustle their products, and indeed I do love the art of the pitch. Oh, and then there’s riding the shuttle, pulled by a large farm tractor!

Hanging Out with Gary Regich

Gary Regich of Indianapolis, Indiana, recalls his early days with his friend and brother of over four decades. Roger Holloway and he spent a lot of time ministering on the streets of Indianapolis and in the local church together. Here is a part of that story, which is His-Story.
